![]() ![]() ![]() Defeating the ghosts required problem solving. More importantly, they're things the original DreadOut already had. I shouldn't have to explain this, because these are things every video game should have. They should follow attack patterns with invincibility frames and openings, weak spots to exploit, and audio or visual cues to give the player a CHANCE to dodge or counter-attack. The original DreadOut understood that combat shouldn't be about knee-jerk reactions against enemies that zip around like they're on speed. They all move WAY too fast, and there isn't any difference between them. ![]() is like some obnoxious kid on the playground who keeps knocking you over every time you stand up. With the exception of a certain statue boss, their one and only strategy is to circle around and slam into you until you die. By far the worst part about this game is the camera ghosts.
